Commercial update: Friday 21 November

Club director Carl Halstead has delivered the following commercial update.

As a Rochdale Hornets fan first and foremost, as well as a proud custodian of the club, I’d like to provide supporters with an update from a commercial perspective and highlight some of the immediate focus areas which require your support to enable the club to meet its targets.

As our chairman, Andy Mazey, has spoken about many times in recent years, sustainability is at the core of everything we do as a board and club. 

In simple terms, in order to spend more, we must generate more income and meet the targets we set.

'Brick in the Wall'

We recently launched the 'Brick in the Wall' campaign. 

I’d like to appeal to supporters to back this initiative, as it's something we believe is great value for money but also an unmissable opportunity to etch your name or the name of a loved one into club history.

Player/staff sponsorship 

This is a vital source of revenue and is available to all, with plenty of players still requiring sponsorship, both from a commercial and supporter point of view, for the season ahead.

Season tickets 

As ever, these are a vital source of revenue to the club and have never been better value, having been elevated into a compelling Championship competition just one tier away from the Betfred Super League. 

With some of the biggest names outside of Super League set to visit the Crown Oil Arena in 2026, a season ticket is an absolute no-brainer.
