Purchasing tickets

How are tickets purchased and distributed to home and  away disabled supporters e.g.

(credit card, Email, postal, telephone, ticket office collection)

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the club website: www.hornetsrugbyleague.co.uk or by contacting the office 01706 648004 where tickets can either be posted or made available for collection on the day. Tickets are also available on the matchday through the club shop.

Accessible parking

Number of accessible parking spaces – home and away supporters

We have a large number of  parking spaces, all of which  are accessible to all supporters with two specifically identified for disabled supporters. 

Proximity of parking area to accessible seating area

Parking is directly outside the ground and very close to the seating area.

Policy for allocation of parking spaces for home and away supporters (recommended 30% allocated to away supporters)

We have sufficient spaces to make available for all those who need them and will always work to accommodate disabled supporters.

We have ample spaces for wheelchair uses within the ground.

Location of wheelchair spaces – home and away supporters (are they under cover /are there unobstructed views?)

There is space at the front of the main stand for disabled supporters and additional provision can be made if cover or other facilities are required.

Policy for allocation of accessible seating for home and away supporters(recommendation is 30% for away supporters)

We have plenty of capacity but seating can be reserved for individuals based on their need if notified in advance. The provision for home and away supporters is treated equally.

Location of career seats (adjacent, behind, in front)

Carer seats are alongside the accessible spaces.

The ambulant disabled spaces are within the main stand.

Can you access refreshment areas from the accessible seating areas / do you have alternative arrangements for provision of refreshments

We do not have direct access to refreshments areas which are in the main lounge. Access is possible through return to the main entrance and then via a lift. We would always seek to assist any disabled supporter unable to access refreshments.

The boxes and refreshment areas are accessible via a lift in the main entrance.

There are toilets accessible from the main stand and also within the stadium via the lift.

Unfortunately we do not offer a loop or text line service.

Unfortunately we do not offer an audio commentary service.

Do you welcome assistance dogs?

With prior notice we are able to welcome and accommodate assistance dogs.

Do you have dedicated disability stewards/ volunteers on match days

Although we do not have a dedicated steward or volunteer on matchdays if notified this can be provided.

Do you offer any other services for disabled spectators

(i.e. accessible transport for your fans travelling to away games, Never Watch Alone, etc)

At present we do not offer any additional services for disabled spectators.
