2025 Betfred League 1 fixtures revealed

Fixtures for the 2025 Betfred League 1 season have been revealed.

As revealed earlier today, Rochdale Hornets' opening game of the season will come at home to another of last season’s play-off contenders, Keighley Cougars.

The Cougars will visit the Crown Oil Arena on Sunday 23 February (3pm kick-off).

Seven of the Hornets’ opening nine fixtures will come on home soil - the two exceptions being a trip to Whitehaven in Round 3 (Sunday 23 March) and Dewsbury Rams (Sunday 27 April) in Round 7.

The Hornets will face the division’s newest team, Goole Vikings, over the May Bank Holiday. The Round 8 clash will take place on Saturday 3 May, having been brought forward 24 hours from its initial slot to enable local supporters of both clubs to attend the 2025 Magic Weekend at St James’ Park, should they wish.

Both fixtures against Cornwall will have an earlier kick-off time of 1pm.

Gary Thornton's side will enter the Betfred Challenge Cup at the second round stage, on the weekend of January 25-26.

Details of the format for this season's 1895 Cup are still to be finalised and will be shared in due course.

2025 season tickets

Rochdale Hornets season tickets are now on sale, with prices frozen for the third successive year.

Prices start at just £50 for students. Adult season tickets are available for £150, with concessions costing £100. Season tickets for under 16s are free of charge, reinforcing our commitment to encouraging the next generation of rugby league fans to discover their love for the game.

A 2025 season ticket will provide entry to all Betfred League 1 fixtures next season.
