Jaden Dayes commits future to Hornets
Rochdale Hornets forward Jaden Dayes has become the latest player to sign a contract extension with the club.
Dayes, 20, joined the Hornets in November after enjoying a successful spell in Huddersfield Giants Reserves.
A graduate of the Giants’ Academy, the youngster also spent time out on loan at London Skolars last season where he played against the Hornets, catching the club’s attention with his destructive runs and strong edge play.
The Jamaican international has featured eight times this season and already has two tries to his tally.
On penning a new deal with the club, Dayes said: “I am very happy to be staying at the Hornets.
“It’s been a decent season for myself, but I think that we are heading in the right direction for the play-offs and for next year, so I hope that we can kick on.”
