Trio of England Women stars to host girls' session with Rochdale Hornets Foundation
England Women stars Victoria Molyneux, Amy Hardcastle and Paige Travis will all help host a girls’ rugby league session this weekend.
The free session will take place at Rochdale Mayfield this Saturday (November 13), from 11:00am-12:00pm.
Travis and Hardcastle currently feature for St Helens, who made history by beating Leeds Rhinos 28-0 in the Grand Final at Headingley to complete the club’s treble in 2021.
Molyneux is the current Wigan Warriors vice-captain. She made 11 appearances and scored 6 tries in 2021. She also represented England for the first time in 14-years as they faced Wales, grabbing an assist in the 60-0 win.
“The future is bright for girls’ Rugby League in Rochdale,” said Molyneux.
Hornets Foundation manager Kirsty Crehan added: “We are really excited to be working with Rochdale Mayfield to give the girls a fantastic training opportunity with three quality current players.”
For girls aged 11-16, simply turn up with appropriate clothing and footwear for a 11:00am start at Rochdale Mayfield, OL11 3AG!
