Player departure: Jack Holmes

Outside back Jack Holmes has been released from the remainder of his contract with Rochdale Hornets, to allow him to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

Holmes returned to the club for a second time ahead of the 2026 season.

He was named as 18th man in the opening round of the Betfred Championship season against Swinton Lions, and went on to make his only appearance in the club's defeat to Whitehaven at the start of March.

Part of our famous promotion play-off final victory at Toulouse Olympique in 2016, Jack will be remembered fondly for his contributions to the club.
