The Sportsman to broadcast Swinton Lions clash

Rochdale Hornets' upcoming trip to Betfred League 1 rivals Swinton Lions will be streamed live on The Sportsman.

Sunday's trip to Heywood Road is a 2pm kick-off. 

The outcome of the game could have serious ramifications on the race for the top four. 

Gary Thornton's side are four points adrift of Swinton in the table - but Sunday's game is the Lions' last of the regular season, meaning a Rochdale win would leave the Hornets in a strong position in the battle for the top four. 

Sunday's game is also dedicated to former rugby league player Micky Higham, who was recently diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

Supporters unable to attend the fixture can donate online to a JustGiving page which has been set up to support Micky's treatment, his family and cancer research.
