2025 fixtures confirmed for Rochdale Hornets Women

Fixtures for the 2025 Women's Northern League 2 season have been revealed.

Next season, Rochdale Hornets Women will compete in the division alongside seven other teams.

The 2025 campaign will begin with a mouth-watering fixture against neighbours Rochdale Mayfield on Sunday 18 May at 'The Hive', which will be the Hornets Women's home ground and training base throughout the season. 

Away games will then follow against Batley ARLFC and Ashton Bears as the season enters June. 

In total, the Hornets Women will play 14 league games, facing every team home and away.

The relaunch of the Hornets Women, which was confirmed in November 2024, is part of a strategic development that marks a significant milestone in the club’s history.

The new team will operate under a modernised club model and will be structured in all aspects of its operation to take advantage of the resources of the wider organisation.

A number of signings have been confirmed in recent weeks as head coach Ben Bird begins to shape his squad for the 2025 season.
