Jaymie Hampson-Phow re-joins Hornets for 2025

Rochdale Hornets Women have announced the signing of forward Jaymie Hampson-Phow for the 2025 season.

The 31-year-old Malaysian returns to Hornets, joining from Littleborough RUFC.

She becomes the third signing to join Ben Bird's squad ahead of the 2025 season.

“I’m excited to be returning to Hornets in 2025. I re-joined because of the coaching team! Thanks to Ben & Rob, they made me believe that I could also conquer RL, and that made me passionate about this game!” she said.

Rochdale Hornets Women head coach Ben Bird said: “Jaymie is another player returning to Hornets, she's a dominant player on the pitch and a huge character off it. A taekwondo black belt who's represented England internationally and a proud member of Littleborough RUFC ladies. Jaymie as another of our martial artist's embraces the physicality of rugby league. She'll be a leader this season, a huge presence and a cornerstone of the team.”
