Jason Wilson joins board of directors

Rochdale Hornets are delighted to announce the appointment of Jason Wilson to the club’s board of directors.

Jason will join chairman Andy Mazey and director Carl Halstead on the club's executive board.

He brings extensive business experience from his day-to-day role as managing director of both Smiths Metals (Bolton) Ltd, and Britannia Metals Ltd, who are also sponsors, shareholders and big supporters of the club.

Rochdale Hornets chairman Andy Mazey said: “Carl and I are delighted to welcome Jason to the club's board of directors. 

"Jason’s support of Rochdale Hornets as a sponsor and shareholder has been outstanding, and his commitment, passion and skill will strengthen the board considerably. 

“His appointment is another positive step forward, and a further demonstration of the progress the club is making."

Jason Wilson said: “It’s an absolute honour to join the board of Rochdale Hornets.

“Knowing how well the club is now being ran with such passion, desire and dedication made my decision to invest a very easy one last year. 

"Seeing how hard everyone is working behind the scenes to push the club forward made it a no-brainer for me to join Andy and Carl on the board.
