Ben Forster makes Oldham move

Second-rower Ben Forster has left the club, joining Betfred Championship side Oldham ahead of the 2025 season.

Forster made a total of 77 appearances for the Hornets over two spells, scoring 11 tries.

He also spent time in the second tier with Halifax Panthers in 2023.

After an impressive 2024 campaign, the 23-year-old now moves on to his hometown club ahead of their return to the Championship.

While disappointed to lose a player of Ben’s quality, we understand his desire to test himself in the highest division possible and wish him well for the future.

The club’s full retained and released list will be confirmed in due course.
