Details confirmed for Keighley play-off clash

Rochdale Hornets’ play-off clash away at Keighley Cougars will take place on Sunday 22 September (3pm kick-off).

Gary Thornton's side opened up their Betfred League 1 play-off campaign with a hard-fought 30-18 victory over Hunslet at the Crown Oil Arena on Sunday. 

Keighley and Rochdale have already met three times this season. Both teams have collected a win apiece, with an enthralling middle outing ending in a 20-20 draw at Cougar Park. 

The most recent encounter between the sides came at the start of September as the Hornets ended their regular season campaign with an impressive 32-18 win on home soil.

Week 2 of the play-offs will also see Hunslet host Midlands Hurricanes, with the season over for whichever side loses.

The winner of that game will go on to face the loser of this Sunday's clash between the Cougars and Hornets. 

Match tickets for this weekend's game at Cougar Park are priced at £18 for adults and £15 for concessions.
