HORNETS ANNOUNCE SPONSORSHIP WITH BRITANNIA METALS FOR 2024

Rochdale Hornets are delighted to announce the extension of its sponsorship deal with Britannia Metals for the 2024 season.

Britannia Metals, which is part of the Smith Metals Group is wholly owned by the Wilson family, and are proud to be backing Hornets and Rochdale Hornets Community Foundation once again this year.

Britannia is growing fast in the Rochdale Borough with the majority of its business with local people and companies.

The deal will see a continuation of Britannia Metals brand featuring on the sleeve of the men's first team shirt, as well as our ladies, wheelchair kits and other assets throughout the year.

Hornets Chairman, Andy Mazey, has said: "We are delighted to build on our relationship with Jason Wilson, the Wilson family and the Britannia Metals team.

To have a sponsor who has gone over and above for us, understands what we are trying to achieve, and furthermore really believes in our vision is absolutely invaluable and we cant express our gratitude enough.

Such support really does help underpin the development of our community work as well as aiding the ongoing growth aspiration's of the club on and off the field."

Jason Wilson, Managing Director of Britannia Metals, commented on the news: “We are local people Rochdale born and bred and aspire to give back to the community as we demonstrate by backing a wide variety of amateur / youth sports through out the Borough.
