2022 Fixtures revealed

Rochdale Hornets can confirm our fixtures for the 2020 League 1 competition.

The new campaign will open at the Crown Oil Arena on Sunday, March 27, against North Wales Crusaders with a 3:00pm kick-off.

The club travels to the latest addition to the competition, Cornwall RLFC, on Sunday, May 1, with a 1:00pm kick-off.

The season concludes at home against Keighley Cougars on Sunday, September 4.

On the upcoming campaign, Chief Executive Steve Kerr said: "I’m delighted to see the 2022 fixtures announced with a fantastic fixture at home against North Wales Crusaders. I'm also looking forward to renewing old rivalries with Oldham and Swinton.

"In a change to previous season the Good Friday match returns with an absolute classic as we host Oldham. I’m also very excited to see us play Cornwall RLFC away on a Bank Holiday and I hope fans make a weekend of it. 

"With some matches taking place on Saturday, there’s a perfect opportunity to engage with new audiences and I’m really excited at how the squads building ahead of 2022. 

"Although the season doesn't kick off until March 2022, season tickets are now on sale and offer great value compared to match admission prices. 

"Finally, we will start our season earlier than March as we prepare to play in the Challenge Cup from the 30th of January and fans can expect pre-season games announced very soon.

"A big season ahead and plenty of action for the fans to look forward to."
