Getting to Know: Niamh and Erica Mullins

In this latest online feature, we get to know some of the players who feature for Rochdale Hornets Ladies. This time, we speak to twins Niamh and Erica Mullins.

Niamh Mullins:

How did you get into rugby league?

"Milnrow Cobras coming into my school."

What attracted you to play at Hornets?

"I've always supported them from a young age."

Who inspired you to play rugby?

"Rob Burrow and my coaches from a young age."

Who do you support?

"Other than Hornets, it’s got to be Leeds Rhinos."

Do you like any other sports? 

"I like to snowboard in the winter and I like to do mountains biking in the summer, and I sometimes do Thai Boxing!"

Favourite film?

"Chalet girl."

Favourite artist/band?

"Depends on my mood, but I do like grime so I think I'll say Headie One."

Favourite TV series?

"Our Girl." 

Last meal on earth? 

"Chicken burger and chips."

Any other hobbies?

"I like going out to meet my friend and going to concerts!"

Erica Mullins:

How did you get into rugby league? 

"I got a leaflet from school and went to try it out and I've played for 10 years now."

What attracted you to play at Hornets?

"I’ve always followed and supported Hornets."

Who inspired you to play rugby?

"My coaches when I first started playing, and they still inspire me to play and because of them I've developed a love for the sport."

Who do you support?

"Leeds Rhinos."

Do you like any other sports? 

"Boxing, Thai boxing and Skiing!"

Favourite film?

"Dirty dancing."

Favourite artist?

"Dave." 

Favourite TV series?

"Top Boy."

Any other hobbies?

"Going to gigs and seeing friends."
