Adam Hesketh joins Hornets for 2020

Adam Hesketh has signed a deal with the Hornets for 2020.

Rochdale Hornets is delighted to announce the signing of Adam Hesketh for the 2020 League 1 season.

Hesketh joins from National Conference League side Thatto Heath, and will join teammates Andy Lea and Adam Carr from the amateur set up.

He has also represented Lancashire Open Age and England Community Lions.

"I'm excited to test myself down at Rochdale this year," he said.

"It's a good oportunity for me to take a step up. I'm very famililar with the coaching staff and the players have all been great really welcoming.

"I can't wait to get on the pitch in League One this season."

On the latest addition, Matt Calland said: "Another one from Thatto Heath who is a very tough, uncompromising player.

"He has played internationally as a amateur and is looking to test himself at a higher level."
